The Sac and Fox Nation has an immediate full time or part time opening for the Law Enforcement Criminal Analyst / Administrative Assistant position in Reserve, KS. The primary function is to manage the collection of crime statistics and reporting of those statistics to the FBI as well as telephone communications systems and general administrative support, clerical work which shall include: receive and acknowledge calls by telephone. Screen incoming calls to identify urgency and determine the appropriate action. Also filing and maintaining office records or any other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Training will be provided for Criminal Statistic Data entry and submission.
Must have good telephone etiquette, entry level office practices and procedures. Must have basic computer knowledge and the ability to type accurately at a reasonable rate of speed. Must pass a criminal background check / adjudication and have no criminal records. Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Pay range is $13 to $16.50 per hour depending on qualifications. If selected, applicant will be subject to a drug screen prior to start of employment and random drug screens as per the Police Departments Policies.
This position has the option of being staffed either full time or part time: for example working four 10 hour days: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday thru Thursday; or working three eight hour days. Full time hours (minimum of 32 hours per week) required to qualify for full BCBS, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance. Indian preference does apply.
