Police Department

The Sac and Fox Police Department consists of five full-time officers who operate under the Community Oriented Policing (COP) model. A full-time criminal investigator is assigned to investigate serious cases. This group of dedicated police officers typically handle in excess of 2,000 calls for service each year.

The Sac and Fox Police Department is responsible for all criminal complaints on the Sac and Fox Reservation in both Kansas and Nebraska and also on all tribal trust properties. Officers hold certifications in the States of Kansas and Nebraska.
