Domestic Violence Department Director

The Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri in Kansas and Nebraska has an immediate opening for a full time Domestic Violence Department Director. Working Monday -Thursday - 7:30 to 5:30 in Reserve, Kansas. Minimal on call responsibilities. Full BCBS health, dental, vision & other benefits. This position will include working with families, DV victims, and child welfare. Help with client resources, referrals, transports, crisis intervention and counseling. Seeking someone with a passion to help people, leading a team to advocate, educating, manage & prep reports for numerous grant programs. Must be willing to travel.
Preferred qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related Human Services field, experience in advocacy or case management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. DV Advocate - Sac and Fox Nation - Full Time

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in advocacy or case management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Education in the field of Criminal Justice, Counseling, Social Work or Psychology or related fields a plus. Will consider qualified applicants with work history and experience in case management, with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors or other qualities that fulfill the job description. Required: valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record. Benefits package includes full BCBS, Dental, Vision.

This position will include working with Native American families and individuals who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, assistance with client resources, referrals, transpo1ts to and from appointments and crisis intervention. This person will be responsible for assisting in child welfare cases involving domestic violence, advocating for the families being served and educating the public.

We are working four 10-hour days: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday thru Thursday. There may be instances where client needs or conference attendance extends your day beyond 5:30 PM. Indian preference does apply.

Gaming Commissioner - Sac and Fox Nation - Full Time Position

The Sac and Fox Nation has an opening for a full time Tribal Gaming Commissioner located at 1324 US Hwy 75 Powhattan, KS. 66527. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, working 4 days (8:00-4:30) 32 hours per week, with an attractive benefits package.

Gaming Commissioners are responsible for ensuring the tribal gaming operation is in compliance with the Tribal Gaming Ordinance, gaming regulations, applicable federal and state regulations. Further, they have primary responsibility for enforcing tribal law with respect to each tribal gaming activity or operations conducted on the reservation pursuant to the gaming compact, including regulation of any management contractors, manufacturer/distributors and all gaming employees. The Tribal Gaming Commission shall also receive consumer complaints within the gaming facility and shall assist in seeking voluntary resolution of such complaints.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED certificate. The appointed Gaming Commissioner must also qualify for a Category 1 gaming license. Preferred qualifications include 3 years previous Indian gaming experience. Indian preference does apply.

Gaming Inspector

Position: Gaming Inspector
Status: Full-Time
Starting wage: $14.50

Gaming Inspectors are responsible for monitoring the gaming operation and reporting violations of the Tribal/State Compact, MICS, Tribal laws/Regulations, State laws/Regulations, Federal laws/regulation, and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a Category 1 gaming license
• At least 18 years of age
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer experience (Windows operating system and Microsoft Office)
• Available to work any shift, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• High standard of honesty and integrity
• Ability to keep highly confidential information
